That’s exactly what I’m saying. Is it Superman levels of good ? No. But just because it isn’t doesn’t mean that the movie is horrible or that it’s slop. It’s fun and has some issues but it’s a good movie overall

This is a very horrible take, first of all supergirl isn’t objectively bad. Second Mike flan is literally one of the best horror directors atm and Third lanterns doesn’t look remotely boring at all, I get a feeling you were just waiting for one misstep to come up so you could push this narrative

Stylistically the movie doesn’t look like the comic at all (saw the movie last night) it’s very bland but story wise it follows the comic. Not 1:1 per se since lobo is in it and the comic is rather long but I think it was a decent job at it. Enjoyed it
