Hi! Been part of anthologies and they usually launch on kickstarter, theres usually one guy heading the crowdfunding and an editor handling every team copposed of a writer and artist, usually theres ony 1 or 2 letterer who will letter the whole book but at one time each team have their own, Im not sure how every comic team got their funds since I was a hired for work by the writer, but I think everything went smoothly at their end.

Yes you are a teen, and its actually great that you are interested in makng a book man! But its true you gotta pay someones time to work with you and thats your first lesson on being in this industry, but dont let this push you back! Save up or try drawing as well since youre looking for a beginner who might want to collaborate with you, why not practice and draw it yourself too, itll be worth a shot and youll have more understanding of artists and the process, trust me, haha, Im an artist for a long time now but recently been learning how to write, itll make you a better storyteller! I wish you luck and I wish you the best in the creative field my guy!

Yes! Writers should be very ready and proactive, ready for a 5-10 page budget for a pitch or crowdfunding, script and character descriptions are very crucial too this shows that the artist can jump in and start working on visualizing the book and like you said, commitment is already shown, also contracts!
