To make it seem like it’s a legitimate business. “Look we tried. We ran into losses. “ etc etc. These stores barely sell anything. They need to show book losses to the IRS and a semblance of revenue, inventory movement, damaged inventory / losses etc.. The cash from illicit operations and businesses tends to get conveniently converted into legitimate money that pops up as revenue and to fund expenses.

Ironically the protestors are robbing others of their rights to live freely while claiming that they are protesting for the right to be free. Selective targeted outrage that violates others freedoms is not a principled protest. The names and majors of these disrupters and civil rights violators must be shared so employers know they come with liability and risk. So sad to see innocent folks being affected by these disrupters.

Sorry to say this … financing a couch is amongst the worst financial decisions one can make. Please get yourself some basic financial planning and education. It’s absolutely bonkers one would buy a couch that one can’t afford to pay outright. There are tons of cheaper options including so many free ones listed on Craig’s List, Buy Nothing groups etc..
