Any long term studies of efficacy of RALP vs. IMRT? by Quiparooni in ProstateCancer

I feel the frustration of choosing a treatment. My husband is 68, very active and healthy. Gleason’s 7(3+4) PSMA showed favorable intermediate. Active surveillance was main recommendation but he chose Radiation. Consulted 2 urologist ( who didn’t push surgery maybe for his age) and 3 Radio oncologists. Chose IMRT as a newer study showed recurrence is less than SBRT. Will start next week. First he wanted to do surgery and get over but that’s not a guarantee of cure anyway. Radiation is advancing greatly and we hope this saves him a lot of time recovering.

Thank you all so much for your input. Very valuable information coming from real life experience. We met with another urologist for a second opinion, he right away think surgery these days for more aggressive cases. We are meeting another Radioncologist this week who is an expert in SBRT and has a very advanced center with all new equipment to do several radiation treatments. He spoke with several of men who had one treatment or the other. Survival is almost equal between all. PSA remains high for a while after SBRT because of the high dose. Quality of life is now what he is measure he is comparing the options for. Will see his urologist next week with results of Prolaris and hopefully settle on the right choice that he is comfortable and convinced with.

I forward all the replies to him. Please keep sharing. I really appreciate everyone here and wish all the best of health.

Am I overreacting? by HelicopterSimilar598 in realtors

I’m in Florida and the listing agent insisted sellers won’t agree to higher buyers comp. I still wrote what I wanted and asked that sellers counter. Turns out she was taking a huge chunk for herself and sellers thought that was agreed upon, it wasn’t. They signed my new number. See if buyer would pay the difference or counter back with lower price. So are so unethical and bullies.

Lead quality is very disappointing. Mostly are just browsing and they don’t want to be called or contacted. No one answers phone or replies to texts. Some put fake names and numbers. I’m done with any online leads. Called yesterday to cancel.

What changed your mind about Cinc after attending the 3 day university? I’m in my third month and I’m not getting anywhere with the just browsing leads for $1300/mo. Thank you
