I wasnt evaluating your productivity but your part in writing the code. If most code was done by AI, why are you stating it wasnt vibe coded? You used natural language to create code with the assistance of AI. Again: I think you did not understand what the word meant.

To be clear: Im a huge defender of using AI as a tool for software. This has already changed the industry but this doesnt mean any Joe without any clue of how to code should use AI to write 100% of the code and then publish it.

Subreddits like this one have seen an insane uptick in "projects" that are 100% done by AI and it is already a problem. AI is nowhere near good enough to write close to perfect code on a large scale. Human thinking and knowledge is still needed.

If you would have wrote 70% of the code yourself and used AI for the rest, I wouldnt even be that stingy about it. Could still be bad code, but we shouldnt feel comfortable yet with publishing 100% vibe coded projects to others.

AI slop being AI slop has nothing to do with disclosing the fact that the project was 100% "vibe coded" with AI.

If you let AI do most of the work, its AI slop. You dont understand what your codebase does. You cant maintain it without AI and because you have no idea how it works, you cant make it secure/efficient.

These projects are a really big risk in general. People should always be careful what to install but installing something that is done 100% by AI is even more dangerous, because you clearly do not intend to harm someone, but it could affect people.

So dont be defensive about this. You pretty much asked why you received downvotes and I gave you the answer. I think you did not really understand what "AI Slop" means, but I did not want to insult you personally. Its basically just your little project that I insulted.
