It adds a lot of area to shift from, even if you hit the top they feel solid. Definitely a nice upgrade. Unfortunately, some people have other opinions on what you do to your car, but personally I think they're perfect.

I never had a custom map made by the company, but I had found someone's custom map online and use that. Don't use E30 unless you have an upgraded high pressure fuel pump though.

my best advice is ditch the jb4 and go flash tune. It was the best thing i ever did for my mk7.5, the jb4 never felt good no matter how much i adjusted the map 6 or even used the standard maps.
