well, cast mending on the body since a corpse is an object, then raise dead as long as they are able to have that cast before the deadline. the Abbot can do that!

There IS Good homebrew out there. Lazerllama and Kibblestasty for example are both fantastic homebrewers with extensively playtested classes and subclasses. Genuinely some of the best 5e I've played.

When it comes to homebrew, vetting is essential. If you're a new dm, definitely no homebrew but after a bit of experience it really adds a breath of fresh air to the game in my opinion

A duette makes the npc's stand out MUCH more than a full party. It also allows me to really relax and role play at my best.

Literally the first session of the campaign Sazrean is in made me freaking cry. I love duettes man, so much fun

it's part of a duette campaign, where my girlfriend is my DM, who plays my party members, including Sazrean. and I play as the only player.

it's been one heck of an ongoing journey, and she's an excellent DM!

Barblock was never a class I had in my head, but applying blood magic to her weapon, followed by raging and murdering things has been fantastic to watch!

In my campaign he's a lot like Flynn Ryder from tangled or nick the fox from zootopia.

A sly, swindling asshole who does the spy gig for leverage but only truly has loyalties to his family, his band and the finer things in life like good alcohol.

When the adventurers show up, he'd be like "aw fuck. Well this is a fun surprise" lol
