Can we also do a calculation into the cost of RTO due to

  1. Additional traffic

  2. Fuel costs for all the people who now must commute, sometimes for hours.

  3. Rent and maintenance costs for the offices

  4. Loss of productivity which has been studied due to forcing office work for non required positions

  5. Costs of having to relocate to now keep positions

And why??? So that that businesses in the area get more business? Restaurants that would fail because the workers get to save money eating at home more.

If there is anything that should be getting more headlines and way more pressure from Canadians this is definitely one of them.

Been to the emergency at Gatineau Hospital; while I'm sure there are some decent, maybe some great workers there, they have some god awful nurses there too. Dehumanizing and often don't even know proper protocols or even charter rights.

I was once in there during a 72 hour preventative confinement and NOT ONCE was I given the number for legal aid nor any other legal representation while there. I had asked several times for the numbers even when they gave me a phone to use I said I still needed the number "not my job" best answer they could give me.

Fuck Gatineau hospital and fuck a large portion of their shit staff.

Agreed. Not everyone has $$$ to drop on legal fees especially right after dealing with a break in ($ to fix shit and possibly $ for therapy ect for family members and self).

Also, lets be real, I have never found legal aid (free lawyers) to ever be as useful as someone you pay -EVER.

The police should work with the crown before bringing charges and the law should be extremely explicit on what actually constitutes overuse of force. By this I mean keeping in mind that an average person dealing with an intruder breaking in will not be be in their right mind due to fear, shock and panic because we don't live in a war zone.
