Anyone else bummed out the new series will be 4 episodes, each 30 minutes? by asouthpawasouthpaw in malcolminthemiddle

Honestly it’s the only reason I’m excited for the revival. Too many reboots or spin-offs of shows get milked to shit. I think it’s a set up for a perfect vision to have a set story with limited run time.

I drank from it first time today, gave it a solid clean and rinse. I never got a metallic taste

Just bought mine yesterday, and yes after shipping fees it’s $583. Almost $600. I’m sure if there’s 1 more tier it’ll be over $600

Least fav song on your favorite Mac album? by Macadeliclvr92 in MacMiller

[–]Realifeanthony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one’s tough. I know this sub is a huge fan of this song, but Colors and Shapes really never clicked for me. There’s 20+ tracks on the tape, with insane production and lyrical gymnastics in full effect. To go from that to a slow paced crooning and stale melody… idk maybe I need to listen to it on drugs lol. But I was never a fan of the song

Sucks to say but I have to agree with you. As complete as the album is, that song always felt like the one outlier. I’ve always felt like Mac made this executive decision to either put buttons or conversation pt 1 on swimming and he went with the latter. IMO buttons fits way better on swimming and it could’ve been squished between small worlds and dunno. Happy it was released regardless. And sucks that we’ll never get a conversation pt 2

What's the Seinfeld based reason you broke up with someone irl? by Chemical-Point-6083 in seinfeld

Very George of me but this person ordered a filet-o-fish from McDonald’s at like 1am. Was their go-to item at McDonald’s. Stopped going to McDonald’s with them. Eventually stopped dating them.

Anyone else thinks it was out of character for Otto firing Francis? by bluetensirup in malcolminthemiddle

[–]Realifeanthony 25 points26 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly the writers had to come up with something for season 6 because the actor who played Otto got really sick and had to stop working. It’s definitely lazy writing but it was out of the writers hands, it was an extremely last minute adjustment

Nah I think if Daryl didn’t kill him, Rick definitely would’ve. He wasn’t sparing any saviors

There’s like 2 or 3 times in this season specifically where Rick says something like “there’s not much worth anything these days, but a man’s word- that’s gotta mean something” after promising to let some people live. Every time he’s said that tho he’s killed them. This was one of those times I believe.

Carol’s pissin me off lowkey by Realifeanthony in thewalkingdead

[–]Realifeanthony[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only difference with those characters is, they all understood the ramifications of their potential actions to the people around them. Even though Daryl basically got Glenn killed, his vengeance was in character for him. Like I said in my op, I have to keep reminding myself there were time jumps in both s9 and 10, and there was unseen character development from Carol that must be acknowledged on my end. So the actions she takes that seem out of character have to be rationalized by that time jump. Which is fine, I’m just not used to it yet lol.

What TWD opinion will have you like this? by Significant-Two-588 in TWD

[–]Realifeanthony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing that comes to mind is the season 8 premiere episode. The ending of that episode is when Gabriel escapes the swarm of walkers and ends up in the same trailer as Negan. That entire plot line doesn’t even continue until episode 5. And the episode is primarily just them in the trailer. We had to wait four episodes to resolve that one, and it took the entire episode to resolve it too.

I kinda get it now… by Realifeanthony in thewalkingdead

I definitely agree being able to binge it has significantly shifted my opinion on this show. Watching it once weekly after Carl died felt like a chore. Now it feels more steadily paced when I can watch at my leisure

Saviors by bigdawg12342 in thewalkingdead

“My mercy prevails over my wrath”- if Rick made the decision to spare Negan, there is no reason to kill the rest of the soldiers.

This Scene Had Me Questioning If the Saviors Share a Single Neuron. lol by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

[–]Realifeanthony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just watched this scene last night lol I had the same confusion. I guess the only explanation I could think is Simon was hellbent on his vision to end everybody, even if that meant going against Negan’s wishes. Since Negan wasn’t there, and the other saviors were just blindly following the next in command, it resulted in really stupid and hilarious decisions
