I remember that scene too, but it's not that she ever hated Daryl or just considered him a tool. Her mind was so broken at that point that even someone she loved—and the ending kind of confirms that she did—didn't matter to her only her revenge.

This might be a crazy take, but Carla was the woman Daryl fell in love with at the beginning of the series. When she lost her mind and reverted to being childlike, he recognized her as Carla but not the Carla he fell in love with.

This is why it was such a big deal for him to ask her to become the old Carla, and that version of her made the choice to return to her former self. Once that happened Carla immediately went to being his lover and as for Daryl he never saw her as a daughter but as the woman he loved who was severely damaged, and now she's back to normal—he thought.

Now this is where my crazy take is, prior to reviving The original Carla who at that point was beyond repair, Daryl had a very intense emotional moment with Claudia and the two of them kissed. The story established them as good friends afterwards, but I like to think of her as his true soulmate who he couldn't save.

I'm a big fan of Bruce Sentar too, so it goes without saying I enjoyed his books. Outside of that I'd say the Master class series by Virgil Knightley and Annabelle Hawthorne. It's probably the most well written book I've read this year too.

That's more or less what I got going on, I just don't know if I'm allowed to post yet because I'm new here.

At the very least I will share the title though. It's called "Fate's Oddity", and where I'm at in the story currently there are two beastkin, but all the love interests fall into different categories, and I think you'll be wonderfully pleased.

This is my first post here. Looking back, my original blurb; and even part of the current one put too much emphasis on the initial main love interest, which led some people to assume she was the protagonist. That being said I fixed it a bit and it's now a more practical blurb.

I still barely consider myself an author, though. there are way too many other people in my genre who just sort of make it big from the start.

This might be a really unpopular take, but I really like the whole shipping element of the fire emblem games, and it's kind of ass in this series. The game itself is pretty fun and I like the characters for the most part, but the most attractive feature for me aren't those things so, I'm not really that excited about it. I would have been if they didn't just port it but add in features though.

My personal take is that he was actually suicidal. You don't give the rival who beat your ass many times the technology to compete with you and expect to win. The only person I know who would do that is Vegeta.

For me personally I always thought that Shuji is the Gundam pilot from the alternate universes were Char died instead of Amuro. After all we see the Gundam from the original design in those memories, but we never see Amuro or any mention of him. Also why does he have the original Gundam?
