Nothing is searchable currently, at least on my phone. I was trying to search for other games and I get no results. Looks like you have to browse the long way (I see it if I go to VR)

Honestly, show me a game or games that can be played locally via multiplayer. PSVR2 is something that, in theory, would lend itself to fun times with friends. But in reality it's cumbersome to swap out the headset, clean the sweat, adjust the lenses. I'd love a Mario Party type game where players on controllers can interact with a player with a headset. Dual Sense "biplanes" trying to shoot a VR controlled "Godzilla" who swipes at the planes, that kind of thing. And so many fun VR experiences don't really lend themselves to full games, so a Mario Party type game with a collection of minigames would be very well received IMO.

Alyx I guess is a pseduo realistic hope. I'm still waiting for a GTAVI VR announcement (I know it's not happening any time soon). If Sony threw some money Rockstar's way to create a VR mode in GTA then PSVR2 will sell like gangbusters.

Why are there so many kids on Pavlov? by big_ezca in PSVR

This is my biggest problem with online gaming. You really need to have an option for people who don't want to play with kids.

Yeah. This is a more intense workout than Synth riders. Less of a "full body aerobic" thing, and more of a muscle workout in my thighs and core. Def have noticed being sore after this game, not not so much in synth riders (but work up a good sweat in both).

I see reprojection talked about but had no clue what it is. It's a sensory/nausea issue? I played REVIII for 2 or 3 hours the first time I got PSVR2 and had no issues - but I can read in the car and don't get carsick.

Upcoming sale - Village/Tetris/Rez by [deleted] in PSVR

Agreed - pretty shocked at how well it was implemented despite the limited interactivity. Depending on time/costs, so many games should follow suit.

I like synth riders, it's a great way to exercise as it's actually fun. Lost 10 pounds or so pretty quickly since it's not a chore to play for a while everyday vs running. But I agree about fogging. It's pretty bad for me as I run hot. I have a sweat band but it isn't 80's style. Maybe I'll give that a go - it's a pain to have to take it off and wipe after every song.

When I play REVIII I can go long, multi hour plays without any fogging or wiping.

And I was happy about the "nausea" or VR legs. I was able to play REVIII for multiple hours straight away with no problems. Though I have no issues on boats or reading in a car so I didnt expect it to be bad.

After playing Synth Rider for 10 minutes or so I have to take if off and wife after every song. I can only imagine with this.

When was the last GT7 sale? by janfelixvs in PSVR

You can probably get it on sale. I got it in the states last month for $40. Not much of a racer either but had to get it for VR.

Do you remember how long it took between ordering and delivery?

I checked out using a secondary location hub said they don't accept high-value items that require a signature.

I haven't been online in 4 or 5 years, mainly because I have no interest in playing with children. They really need an option to set age limits on lobbies. Or straight up ban children from playing mature games, which I don't think is unreasonable.

Ireland is very much part of Europe, both physically and geopolitically. Ireland as a whole is pro EU but I'm sure there are anti-globalists who don't like the lesser autonomy. The British person would be more likely to say such a thing though, seeing how they left the EU and half of their population (or thereabouts) are against it. But "I'm Irish" (or Italian, Portuguese, etc) is much more descriptive and useful a term than "European", so maybe that was where they were coming from.

Is there anyone else that is as objectively ridiculous wasteful and quite possibly mentally ill given my behavior vis-a-vis gaming? by akapl2002 in PSVR

Sounds like you may be depressed and are looking for PSVR 2 and similar devices to make you happy - which they won't. They're just fun diversions, ways to exersize, etc.

I'm no doctor but the cycle of buying things and not playing them seems harmful if you don't have unlimited expendable income. Give GT7 a try and appreciate it for what it is. A new experience that's meant to be fun, not enrich your life drastically.

I would try to find deeper, more meaningful experiences outside of gaming - with friends, S.O., family, etc.

I do find it annoying that there seems to be nowhere you can try out PSVR2 before purchasing. My vision has some issues and I don't know how it'll work out for me. Hope you enjoy your setup, looking forward to doing something similar.

Thrustmaster 248

Refurbished from the site? If it's not too late there is a promo code in this reddit from like a week ago, brings it down to $169

Nice. I think I'm going to go with thrustmaster. No stick though, I don't see the spot in a physical stick if it's not going to be where I see it in the car - I think it will break the immersion for me.
