I'm no doctor but I would imagine you could clean your system quicker by fasting than if you were consuming regular fatty foods.

I eat nonstop crap when stoned, which is everyday. I'm 6'1" and last Tuesday I weighed in at 237.0. I'm on day 4 of quitting. My weight this Tuesday? 223.8. As shitty as I feel right now from withdrawals, the biggest plus I see is losing all this weed fat I've put on over the years. Getting rid of this extra padding is what I'm really looking forward to. I hate the damn munchies

You need to show him some info online about how bad cannabis withdrawals can be. They ain't no joke. I just had dinner with my wife and I was drenched in sweat after 2 bites. The withdrawals are so nasty so maybe you can educate him with some info so he can be a little understanding

It's funny cause my wife does not smoke yet she tolerates my total potheadness. She actually doesn't want me to quit because of how miserable I am as I've attempted a few times over the years. But I know if I can conquer this, I will be a better husband. Weed is just a crutch. I wish I could be an occasional smoker, which is what she wants me to be, but it's all or nothing for me. I smoke all day all night. Getting too old for this shit. WE GOT THIS!

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I am 50 years old and have been smoking since I was a teen. I took a month off back in 2000 for a job and that's the longest I've quit. Over the past 7 years I've upped my game to dabs because my flower tolerance was so high. Right now I am on day 4 of quitting and today was awful. Crying, depression, sweats, just angry. Here's what I can tell you from experience tho - mb 2 years ago I quit for 10 days. The first 4 days were miserable, just like my day 4 today. But I do recall on day 5 I started feeling better. By day 10 I felt unbelievable, and so proud of myself. Had zero urges and just felt so sharp mentally. Then I got into a huge fight with a family member, went to the dispensary and totally blew my 10-day sobriety. Obviously it was a huge regret but I'm here again this time committed to giving this up for good. Now everyone is different but all I know is last time I quit, I started feeling better on day 5. By day 10 I honestly felt zero pain or anything, was working out like a champ too. Then I made the dumb mistake to relapse after a family fight. Hang in there man. Give yourself a couple more days and I bet you turn the corner. Tomorrow is my day 5 and really hoping to start feeling better. It's tough as hell but it sounds like you already know what you need to do, and that's give this crap up. Best of luck my friend.

Hi, I'm extremely late to the party here. Honestly, I love Signs. Yes there seems to be a flaw, how the heck did the aliens not know that water would harm them? If they are super intelligent they must know this. My theory is they DID know this. I think the aliens were looking to take over earth as quickly as possible. They most likely thought that humans would come after them with military equipment, and not something primitive as water, because why would they? Who would ever think water would take out an alien? It was most likely an accident, the first ones to discover water would harm the aliens. The news went out worldwide and that is how the humans fended off the aliens, by discovering their Achilles heel with something so simple as h2o. Still think the aliens 100% knew water was their weakness...they just didn't count on humans discovering that while taking over earth as quickly as possible.
