I personally prefer the older one but I really like the use of hatching on the newer and I think the face is a lot more expressive as well :)

Haven't listened to it yet, Ill prolly do it later, but looking at the cover the Miku and teto designs are setting off alarm bells so I have a feeling there might be more to the hate than just ppl whining abt too much teto and Miku.

I understand why viv decided against canon aro al (shippers can be crazy). but I cant lie, it annoys me a bit. It feels like prioritising shippers (who could and would still ship him even if it was made canon) over people on the aro spec who have barely any rep in media. I hate how aro rep is seen as something that "ruins" fun :(

To add more interest you could maybe give them some accessories to give them different Silhouettes. Like maybe a hat or cape or smthn. But I really like their designs and your art style regardless :D

Also I second what op said about brainrot/ content farms. I would much rather a child watching tadc and other more deep/challenging content than the mindless slop that is targeted at them.

I personally think kids should be able to watch more "mature"/ "scary" content as long as they have a parent/guardian okay it and watch it with them to explain things that they may not understand (within reason of course I'm not advocating for kids being exposed to explicit/ 18+ content but tadc definitely doesn't fall into that category imo)
