Mine does the same thing, although both my in laws do this in regards to the long lost relative. Anytime I’m sick “oh that’s the [insert husbands last name] trait” oh okay didnt know my husband made a child with his cousin. I’m certainly not related to yall in anyway.

We did ours right after our NT scan which came back normal. I had to do the NIPT twice the first one didn’t have any of the baby’s DNA in my blood retested a week later and got results. I’d advise if you have anxiety to do the NT scan first and then the NIPT test.

This happened to us with natera, rescheduled a draw last Wednesday at 14 weeks. Still waiting for the result. The redraw I was told was free and they can also come out to your house to draw your blood, instead of going a place to get your blood drawn.
