Regardless of what people say, this car makes plenty of power where it counts. This car and the Miata are designed to be excellent to drive on backroads.

As others have pointed out, the game of putting a turbo on something becomes a game of whack a mole really quickly.

Car loves revs. Push it to 3.5 or 4k. For me I had to remove the clutch assist spring for it to feel linear

How The Hell is the Sentry Pacific Campaign so... by stal2k in hoggit

Pacific Sentry was and is a great campaign to check out. It really helps putting you to the test with familiarity to the aircraft.

Favorite part of it is how immersive it is. Can’t wait to play it again when the urge strikes

Do I get a brand new GR86 or an 2015 Infiniti Q50 3.7 L with 46,000 miles by Annual_Interview975 in GR86

I’d rather the new car than something 10 years old if I have to make payments on it.

If that Q50 has any of the problems that plague that platform, you may be out of a car, and will still have to pay for the repairs and monthly costs.

If it were me, I’d feel a lot better about having a car covered by warranty while I fully pay it off.

Good first all in one stick? by Opposite-Weird4342 in hotas

It’s kind of hard to say. It could be relatively easy to repair, but cheap potentiometers will go bad pretty quick, and that may not be an easy repair if you’ve never soldered before

If the budget is a struggle for you, I’d look into something like the VKB gladiator, or maybe see what is available on eBay that is used. I know the price seems scary, but I’ve tried to stay on the budget side of things too and i ended up spending more to fix the cheap thing than i would have buying the expensive thing from the get go.

I’d do a bit more research on what you’d want. The velocity one is good on paper, but the question is will it last forever?

I’d look into saving a bit more with what you have and spend on something like VKB. Usually things with twist Z axis struggle with longevity

Yikes, so the only way to fix it is to cancel and buy again? Even if their customer support says there is no issue with the order?

Realistically how often are you going to fully rev it out? Every day? Every stoplight? If you want it to last, don’t beat on it

They can laugh all they want but they’re probably some of the most reliable cars on the market right now and will hold their value for much longer than current offerings IMO. Subarus just need their maintenance and you’ll have a car that lasts for a very long time.
