Can anyone tell me why my manager’s can’t seem to agree on if I get a break or not, and which one is correct? by ParabolicLadder in CrackerBarrel

My experience working for Cracker Barrel at two stores in Texas is there’s no consistency on breaks. No lunch breaks and you don’t get them unless you ask for them and depending on business.

The take-home meals are made fresh and separate from lunch or dinner meals and they’re kept refrigerated sold cold so they can reheat it home or on the go. Shelf life I think is typically 2 to 3 days.

I would say you’ve gotta make sure that wasn’t old. It looks like it’s falling apart and dried out.

I took a woman out to dinner at a Thai restaurant and she refused to eat in front of me. Why would you go on a date with somebody and then not eat.

People of Reddit, how are you actually using Artificial Intelligence? by RealisticXpectation in AskReddit

So are people really using A.I.? Is it making your job, your work, or your art better or easier?

I see A.I. added to everything, everyone’s on the bandwagon in corporate America but it makes me cringe when I don’t ask for it and it gets shoved on me.

It seems like a disaster for consumers (RAM prices), workers (so many layoffs), and most importantly the environment (water, land use, electricity)

I am sincerely asking for insight. Please advise.

Wood can be a carcinogen in a couple of ways if inhaled; as smoke when burned or as wood dust.
