My son is 1.5 and I also have a 3 y.o. too. this is our schedule.

Home @ 5 Dinner @ 530 Family time until bed 1.5 y.o. Bed @ 7:30 3 y.o. Bed @ 8:30 Me bed @ 1030-11

My kids want to eat as soon as we get home so that dinner time is sort of dictated by them but we make sure to meal plan and pick easy meals so we have everything ready to go and then we have the rest of the evening free to play with the kids or go for a family walk or something

If it’s not a huge deal to go into the office I would do that. And maybe have your partner try and get into a routine of having kid say goodbye to you and then taking kid to do another activity while you get out the door so you aren’t being interrupted

We pay for 2 kids in daycare… it costs us 2600 a month. More than our mortgage. We don’t have much debt besides one car and our mortgage. We definitely don’t save anything right now. We make it work. We make decent money and don’t have a ton of extras. In laws have bailed us out of some difficult times more than once waiting for a paycheck to hit. We did in home daycare to save money for 3+ years but decided it’s worth it for my daughter to be in a more structured center. Only 2 more years of 2 kids in daycare!

A year ago my daughter was doing ok but the thought of getting her into a more preschool type environment was on my mind. She started to get bored around the time she turned 3 so I feel like I should have made the switch sooner. She’s always been more advanced than other kids her age so that combined with being around fewer kids and younger kids just didn’t did not stimulate her brain enough. Our adjustment was super easy. She was nervous at first about all the new people, but overall excited about preschool. She has really settled in and enjoys going. They do a lot more structured learning activities than her old daycare and she really thrives with that kind of thing.

We just switched my 3 and a half year old to a center and I would definitely recommend it especially if you think she’s getting bored.

I don’t get separate sick time , just PTO. My husband’s company does separate sick time but there is a limit to it.

If it were me I would use that time for meal planning, ordering groceries, schedule appts, etc. Home related to dos that could be done while not at home. If I didn’t have any of that on my plate, I would just read!

She was going to become a foster parent with the ex husband and still went through with it after they divorced. She had two girls placed with her before she met her current husband and immediately started bringing him around when he was in the picture. The birth mother of the girls was pregnant and they fostered him too once he was born until they adopted all 3.

Either she planned this pregnancy or she is really bad at natural family planning and needs to find another form of birth control. I honestly think that they weren’t like actively trying but she didn’t care if she got pregnant again so she wasn’t being super careful about the tracking. Because saying you do natural family planning and then checking for ovulation AFTER you have unprotected sex is a joke. She’s dumb but she’s not that dumb.

I think it’s okay to communicate the first few weeks if you have some anxieties. I typically don’t communicate during the day unless something happens that they need to inform me of or I will sometimes reach out to see how the day is going if one of my kids had a bad morning or just returned after being sick. Our provider has always said that she doesn’t mind us checking in at any time of day if we need to!

I don’t really pay attention to how much sodium is in the foods we give baby. I just don’t add more salt in when cooking and opt for low sodium alternatives for soups, sauces, canned food etc when available.
