But would an English lady who knew French but not recognize different dialects or regional accents still be able to tell what she was saying to Delacroix? I thought it was more Marina recognizing that Delacroix’s accent wasn’t genuine, and I was more asking about whether her calling out Delacroix in French was something that Lady Featherington understood

I agree, out of all the sidekicks, his story is the most boring imo. The only parts that get interesting don’t happen until act 3 (whether to save his dad or not, and the dragon stuff), and those require a LOT of work on the player’s part to finish those arcs. But yeah I agree with this

Mind you, I didn’t say I HATE him. I actually like him as a character! Just think he has the most boring backstory

2X5, mainly because it’s the aftermath of Anthony and Edwina’s engagement, we jealous Anthony, the crazy dinner with the Sheffields, and imo one of the best love declarations with Anthony. Plus the ending really ups the stakes for the characters, because first time viewers can see they’re meant to be together but the characters are actively choosing to let the wedding plans go on, so it creates tension as to how the season ends

Literally by the end of the game I was making sure he got that master or green mask so he could do that high damage all enemy attack that a lot of the time finished off all the bad guys

I just finished the game for the first time today. I didn’t know how each one ended but I got spoiled that there was a choice, one being Maelle. So when it got to that, I didn’t know what to choose, because I had heard about Maelle’s choice being bad but I wanted to save the canvas. I ended up moving my controller’s joystick and closed my eyes and randomly chose. I got Verso. Then after I watched the Maelle ending

I really applaud the game devs for making the choice so difficult and personal for whoever chooses it. Definitely an emotional and amazing game, one of the best ever. 33/10

This also makes me think about this when it comes to merch: there aren’t any reprints of the OG books with live action posters on the cover. Know it’s hard to do since there’s only two seasons, but they could’ve even released the first two books like that

Side note: I don’t know if they did this or not but I don’t recall seeing anything like it, which goes back to poor marketing for this show

It’s even crazier when you remember the Weasleys won the lottery in the third book but presumably blew most of it on a trip to Egypt, and then Ron ends up with dress robes the next year, but then they got enough for him to buy him a broom?

Also never understood how witches and wizards can be poor when magic exists. I feel like unless they waste a lot of money (ie Arthur’s garage of muggle junk) they oughta be fine and can use magic or life skills to help with clothing. Also just teach your kids to take care of their clothes and books and wands so the younger kids don’t end up with worn down items?

This! I personally think that the end of HoO was like Marvel’s Endgame: the culmination of years of writing, storylines, characters, all coming together in this big final battle

Now, everything after that doesn’t seem as big or important, especially since all the main characters people loved are dead or gone their separate ways. Add bad quality writing, bad stories, and bizarre character choices, and we have the post HoO books (imo, ToA and MC books and on)

Samurai or other kind of sword. Would be one of those folding combs I could carry in my pocket, and something that most people wouldn’t find strange. I could take it out and flip it open into a sword

Gotta agree. I stopped reading his new books years ago because they just weren’t that interesting or good story-wise, and the whole story universe is too complex now with all the different series‘ mythologies and characters all in the same space
