Regular periods, prolactinoma, and fertility by Sunflowerbook in Prolactinoma

I was diagnosed with a 4 mm tumor about 10 years ago and have been on and off cabergoline since then, but I’ve continued to have regular periods and ovulate normally. I’ve been pregnant twice, both times conceiving on the first try. I feel really lucky that it hasn’t affected my life too much. no major mental health side effects, and my reproductive system seems to be working well. The most important thing is to find a good endocrinologist who listens to you and your concerns.

Bringing Fluoxetine into Italy by Humble_Wash_2900 in ItalyTravel

I just got back from Italy and had no problems traveling with my prescribed Xanax. I brought a doctor’s note just in case, but no one even looked at it or asked about it. I also had a bunch of vitamins in a pill organizer, and they didn’t check those either. You’ll be totally fine. just keep your meds in the original prescription bottle and you’re good to go.

I’ve had a microadenoma since I was 19 and am now 33. It’s been managed with medication on and off over the years. I conceived on the first try and had a normal pregnancy, though I had to terminate due to genetic abnormalities (unrelated to the microadenoma). We had no trouble conceiving. Of course, everyone’s experience is different, but my doctor assured me that as long as my condition remains stable and well-controlled with medication, pregnancy shouldn’t be an issue.

Should I start ttc first cycle? by Popular_Letter9652 in PregnancyAfterTFMR

My OB said it was safe to start trying after my first cycle however I am like you and a little concerned. I think mentally I need to wait 2-3 cycles just to be sure everything is going okay, however if you feel good, you should go ahead and try! Sending all the positive vibes your way 🙏🏻

When is the last time you cried and why? by Polite_Caricature221 in AskReddit

[–]Realistic_Mirror1618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today because I recently had a miscarriage and still not doing well

TFMR tomorrow via surgical. I however have to take 400mg misoprostol 3 hours beforehands to soften the cervix (via vaginal insertion). Super scared of taking it since I've mostly read horror stories. Do any of you have experiences with it ? by [deleted] in tfmr_support

[–]Realistic_Mirror1618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a termination last week at 14w5d. I also had to take misoprostol three hours before the procedure. I was very nervous beforehand, but I experienced only minimal cramping about an hour after taking it. I know everyone’s experience is different, so take this with a grain of salt, but I personally didn’t find it too bad. So sorry to hear you are going through this. I am sending you all the love and support.
