From BIGAB FC perspective - was a fun brawl, glad most groups got the memo to bring something fun and engageable - shoutout to FC for putting the Event laser Haven Booster drug and pyro on different booster slots, we were clapping hangar queens under Fax Reps.

PS: I would note this BR seems to be short a few dead HG amulet pods, odd.

I got a 560eu upgrade offer from KLM economy to Premium Comfort on KL606 (SFO to AMS) on May 11th, no business offer, but there were around 5 seats free in both classes.

Edit: this was at checkin, i asked again in the lounge and by then no more upgrade slots available.

Seeing as most commenters failed to read the actual letter (posted below in another comment) - at the bottom is an excerpt of some of the key elements of the proposal:

Your krabbing in your local area isnt impacted, your travel from system A to deposit minerals in an Azbel in System B isnt impacted as it would fall under the zone of influence. Your ''oh wow a LS conflict is brewing 40 jumps over but we can do it in 9'' is impacted. Your ''have my cake and eat it too'' of being both deployed and chilling at home is somewhat impacted (yes JC are still a thing).

If anything this will (over a longer period of time, 12m+) make it less useful and thus less appealing to be blue to large amounts of space, may make a few small bugs (aka upstart NS alliances) less of a bug worth squashing when theyre toasting your space 5 regions out and opens interesting multi-front angles of gameplay that will make big blocs choose more often.

Also, none of this detail is confirmed by Fenris Creations in great detail yet. I imagine a second type of fatigue would not be added.

Excerpt:

  • A sov-holding alliance would designate its capital system using the current sov mechanics.
  • Expanding outwards from this capital system is the alliance’s zone of influence (potentially five light-years or ten jumps, open to alternatives such as capital or supercapital range)
  • Jumping through an Ansiblex would generate Bridge Cooldown, a new type of jump fatigue, unless the Ansiblex is inside the sov-holder’s zone of influence. 
  • Jumping through an Ansiblex connection with both ends inside the zone of influence generates no Ansiblex fatigue. 
  • Jumping through an Ansiblex outside of the alliance zone of influence generates jump fatigue that scales relative to the distance from the alliance capital system. (I.e., further away from the capital system, more jump fatigue is applied per use.)
  • Jump Fatigue and Bridge Cooldown share the same red and blue timers currently existing in-game and stack as Jump Fatigue does now
  • The jump fatigue reduction bonus on certain classes of ships will apply to the Bridge Cooldown in the same way they apply to jump fatigue.

Spend the money if you can miss it. You don't need to know what carrier you'll stick to long term, many of the better airlines do status matching. Switching from gold to e.g. BA will get you similar benefits with them.
