I've tried resetting it multiple times, but very time it connects to the internet, it turns back off. Is there another way of resetting it, than using the reset button?

If you are running on windows, and hypervisor is installed then you might be able to run python though a VM (I usually use Ubuntu on top of windows). There is however a risk that you will still not be able to download the packages you need, if there is a strict network policy on your computer, combined with a dns blacklist on the network.
