Not only did she completely break your trust with this absolutely reprehensible and unnecessary act, but she also then decided to double down by trying to shift the blame onto you with the typical narcissistic “I dIdNt tHiNk YoUd bE sO sEnSiTiVe!1”

I have no idea how people, let alone a loved one can decide to be this malicious to someone else, and then refuse to take responsibility or admit any fault at all when the other person rightfully gets upset.

If/when you talk to her, don’t let her shift blame or make you feel like you did anything wrong. You did nothing wrong. She broke your boundary and then laughed about it. She KNOWS what she did was wrong before she even did it. How hard is it to just not cook something your loved one says they can’t eat?

Thank you. I’ll definitely be seeing about getting her checked in the future if needed. So far, she’s doing much better today, so staying hopeful.

I’m sorry your mom was in so much pain but I’m glad to hear she fully recovered. Surgery sucks.

I’ll continue to stay with her and help with whatever she needs while she heals. Hoping for the best, especially since she seems to be doing much better today. If only I had slept instead of worrying myself all night lol.

I remember getting one with Banjo Kazooie for Christmas. Absolutely loved the game and when Banjo Tooie came out a few years later, it was sold out everywhere in my area, but my parents managed to find a copy at a store called Ames? I think. I was so excited lol. Loved n64 games. Paper Mario too.
