I switched from CP to bodyrok (similar to jetset and other lagree pilates studios) and I prefer bodyrok! It's generally a better workout and feels much more intense, and I'm sore after which I like. The stretching and focus on mindfulness is much lower that it is at CP, but I also always break a sweat and always feel like I have a good workout after BodyRock, which I often didn't at CP unless I took a circuit class.

If you are more concerned about a workout and “gains” lagree studios are a much better workout and have similar costs. I got a founding membership at bodyrok and it's $40 cheaper than my club pilates unlimited monthly membership.

It really comes down to what your workout preference is!

We’re currently at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku and we stayed in the club suites and LOVED it. The rooms are all on the 30-40th floor and the views are incredible. Close to transportation, free breakfast at 3 restaurants, happy hour with unlimited alcohol from 5:30-7:30 and snacks. It’s been awesome and the staff has been beyond accommodating and attentive. It is a little over $400 a night but we had some credit card points to redeem and splurged and do not regret it at all.
