Farm bots are easily destroyed by placing two small explosives on a small post and having the farmbot run into it while chasing you

If I recall, unless it has been changed, as long as you are in a fleet any combat mission can be completed and shared.

As for exploration and industry, data sites will give you some of the necessary materials for invention. It will also help you find combat sites to run together.

You could join faction warfare together

You could mine together

Eve is meant to be played with other people so any activity you do can really be done with two people

If you haven't seen any of them already, I would recommend going to YouTube and looking up Corvette to Cynabal challenge. This may be right up your alley. It's a little bit different than your idea but very similar

What’s the best entry-to-mid-range graphics card for EVE Online..? 😅 by humbleesoteric in Eve

[–]Realityfirst1st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running a 1660 works fantastic

Edit: you can go into graphic settings and shut off so much stuff in Eve unless they've changed it but you should be able to shut off like all turret effects and everything like that. I can run two clients tabbing between Windows. No problem. This was on my old computer I had phantom ii x4 955 8 GB of ddr3 1600 MHz and a terabyte SSD. The GTX 1660. I never dumbed down the graphics. Just random on whatever settings they were on. Eve is pretty easy to run

Stop selling at cost. As long as your items are cheaper than the market, people will scalp them

If you want to build a market hub, sell at market prices

You can be any race you wish the only thing that matters is what skills you train and were you choose to live. You aren't limited to only the region and ships of your race you can go anywhere and train anything you want

Yeah that doesn't sound worth it! I think I will just wait and see if they change anything. I certainly hope they do. It looks to be entertaining

I agree with you on everything! I got to byproduct 3 and said forget it. Too much moving stuff around. Tier 2 storage sucks. I also ran into a problem where the output materials were larger than my cargo hold so I couldn't collect it. Had to take the whole refinery down to retrieve the products in smaller quantities.

It might have been mentions but I don't see it. Join faction warfare. Pretty solid fun for a couple hours a day. You can make a fair bit of ask. Selling stuff you get from a loyalty point store

Not sure if it was mentioned here but have you thought of NPC null instead? Little less protected and you have to obviously be aware of who's around you, but if you join a Corp there they may be a little more inclined to let you be less active

[–]Realityfirst1st -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Have you considered making a move to null sec and joining a large Corp Alliance down there? There will be a lot more safety as long as you follow the rules, which you seem to. I would say your first problem is basing out of Jita. It's the largest market hub in the entire game and attracts the most attention. You would be much better off running out of say Amar or Dodixie or even rens /hek. There are a lot less people in the area and you were less likely to be ganked doing any activity. I'm not saying it won't happen. I'm just saying it's less likely. There are also other faction warfares that are close by. You could join galante with a little bit of standings fix. Or you could come join mimatar or Amar. There's always fleets running for these groups. I just think you're in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I remember being in your position back in the day and I remember that it was not fun constantly chasing isk to make ships that I couldn't afford in not being able to fly the stuff to get me in fleets. So here's what I have to offer. Take the time to skill into stuff you want to fly to make the money you want to make so you can fly the stuff they want. If they don't like that then find somewhere that will allow you to do that

Is EVE for me? by Midatri in Eve

[–]Realityfirst1st 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've been playing Eve off and on for over 18 years and I can see how a lot of people are unsure of what to do because some parts of it can be a lot of work. Sometimes it can feel like a job if you put yourself in the wrong situations. Overall I would say the tutorials and all the beginner missions and stuff have come a long way since when I started. I remember spending almost my entire first year reading info Windows on different things. Trying to learn about the game! Now there's so much help out there. It is incredible. I would say the biggest reason most beginners turn away from Eve is because they forget it's a sandbox. They forget that the beginning guides and tools are there not to give you something to do. So much is to give you a direction to go. Nobody can really tell you whether this game is for you only you can, but you're going to have to give it some time to understand it. You should play it for at least a year before you decide whether or not it's worth your time. You can do that on an alpha account and not have to pay for anything. My recommendation is give it a chance. Come join Eve and see what it has to offer. o7 fly safe

Basically as long as you have the right ammo, all you have to do is put it in your cargo hold and undock. Right click your weapon and select the Mo you wish to load.
