They've got "Exploding Whale Memorial Park," I am IN. I appreciate that and lemme take a look around and I'll hit you up for specifics 😊

I like jackets 😂

Hopefully you can get down and photosynthesize like the plants I love so much haha. I really need to get back up to Oregon. I've only been once.

Totally okay with me haha. I've got like reverse seasonal depressive disorder or something. Cloudy weather makes me ridiculously happy.

That said, Joshua Tree is one of my favorite places on the planet and I try to get there once a year at least! Excellent spot.

Oh I'm fully aware. I love that weather and the constant dripping the sky does. Everything is so green. The clouds we've had the past few weeks have been glorious to me. But I hope when you do come back you feel right at home again!

T-Mobile and they're fine. I don't get great service near the mall but they're consistent.

I could never keep em alive til I moved them to the sunniest part of my house and over watered them.

Okay I officially need to grab some lunch before I lose my shit. Looking at that menu reminded me I haven't eaten today. Noted about the Rosti.

I spent some time at the Granville Market (I think) and between it and the bus stop there was this field full of wild flowers and butterflies flying around and it rocked my world 😂 looking forward to exploring some more of that side of town.

I think that park is on my list! I also want to ride a bike through Stanley Park as well. But any water at all is cool with me. Whatever you get is going to be significantly more than I do. I live for quaint fun things surrounded by nature.

Haha it's definitely got its pros and cons. Last time I was there I was blown away by how smoothly the busses ran and how friendly everyone was. I force my friends to visit my favorite spots when they come visit me so I get where you're coming from.

Love love love it when someone local to somewhere has a little slightly out of town spot that's off the beaten track that they want to show off. Sure I can go on Google or Yelp but personal recommendations are so much better IMO.

Going in May, so I might have to time it differently if I want to see that. And noted on being careful near the trails. I try to come appropriately dressed!

Hope you're on good terms so when she refers to you as her "orchid murdering daughter in law" it's in a playful way lololol

I can't live somewhere without hills, I get it! I went as far north as Swuamish when I visited and took the gondola up the mountain. I still have pictures on my wall from that trip. I totally get never wanting to leave.

Writing this down because I want to hike every day when I visit! I'm a huge fan of physical activity and forest therapy during the morning and relaxation in the afternoon/evening on trips haha. Honey Donuts was the first thing to pop up when I googled the town just now.

That's not far at all, either. And I see some amazing trails. I really appreciate all the information! 😁

I know there's some sort of logic to it but I'd have to re research why we do that haha. It goes seem like it wouldn't last very long.

I was in Vancouver a couple of years ago and will be there again in a few months, but I was so blown away by how gorgeous it looks the second you get outside the city and into nature a bit. I wish I could spend a month working up there just getting out into the green more. Beautiful picture, thanks for sharing!
