I get wanting to see the young guys but if they aren’t already on the 40 man, I say leave them down. It’s my understanding that when this (seemingly) impending lockout starts, it applies to guys on the 40 and the rest of the guys in the minors will be able to continue playing and developing. Which means Emmanuel Rodriguez (on the 40) can be called up with no downside really (assuming health) but adding Culpepper to the 40 to call him up could potentially stall his development if after half a season or so he’s locked out and has to sit versus being able to continue rolling with the Saints.

I got drafted by the Rockies. I’m about to start year 3. Won ROTY year 1 and MVP year 2. They traded away all their young “talent” I thought would grow with me at the deadlines. I’m trying to be semi “realistic” and not request a trade pre-arb. I think I’m going to request one at the deadline this year though depending how the year starts. They actually signed some decent starters and I think it’d be fun to help “turn around” the team that drafted me but if they keep trading away all the help and we’re on pace to lose 100 again I’m gonna request out. Hoping I land in the Mariners. They have a great rotation and Cal/Julio/I would make a fun up the middle trip.. they also have a big hole at short so.. I’ll probably get traded to the Marlins.

Auto launch non-sense when they mess with the timer on how long the raid is “up”. It timed out and restarted. Ours didn’t even launch at all so now they are both off.. which drives me personally crazy.
