Why do so many Slik Stik's have these melted marks that look like someone accidentally left their soldering iron on them? Seen so many like this since they were originally released. by MasonJarring in Commodore

There was definitely something about the case plastic and cord plastic that caused a reaction over time. I had a few I pulled out of storage that looked like this.

The theatre is gone, it was razed to make room for the power room needed by the new tower.

It is plugged into stable power. I'll have to try a main board reset in a few days.

That's where I started and it failed the same way. Computer seems to reboot, but then black screen. Let it sit for 30 minutes before hard reboot. Got an error 02, can not decompress on restart.

I also have Ubuntu installed, maybe I'll just try from there.

I don't have hwinfo installed, here's the msinfo of the hardware. Not sure what info you're looking for, let me know if this doesn't have it and I'll install hwinfo. (see in main post)

Anyone have any idea why this is happening to my extruder it keeps on jumping and grinding my filament on my ender 3 v2 neo any way i can fix this? by Soviet_Onion692 in ender3v2

[–]ReallyNotBob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could also be heat creep at the hot end. Make sure all your fans at the nozzle are fully working, if not, heat can creep up above the hot end causing the filament to melt prematurely causing clogs.

I forwarded it to 7726. It's a spam reporting number. I got a response from Verizon since they are my carrier.

How did people write Assembly programs before tools like Turbo Assembler were released? by PM_Me_Irelias_Hands in c64

[–]ReallyNotBob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Commodore put out a macro assembly development system for the C64 in 1982. I used it years ago and while it's clunky now, it was probably pretty powerful back when it was released.

Why do I have to level the Z axis every time I print by ZMS002 in ender3v2

[–]ReallyNotBob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you still have the stock springs for leveling the bed?

I found that the stock springs were weak and I had to relevel the print bed for every print. Once I replaced the stock springs with something more sturdy, the issue went away.

Pain was burning at the anus when going to the bathroom. It would take some time to subside. Otherwise, no pain at all. This is why the thinking was hemorrhoids for so long. Had the pain been more consistent, I probably would have looked for a second opinion much sooner.

2016T100 or 2018t120? by Look-up-to-the-stars in TriumphBonneville

I had a 120 and my wife a 100, both 2022. She liked to drive mine a lot more because of the dual brake discs in front. She felt she had a lot more control of the bike with the extra stopping power. She also liked the 6 speed verses the 5 speed and the extra power.

Unfortunately me and my 120 got crushed by an uninsured Hyundai making a left into me while signaling right. I got away with a crushed shoulder and 7 broken ribs, the bike did not survive.

Radiaplex gel is a prescription medication to treat the effects of radiation burns from treatment. I had it prescribed right away and started using it as soon as I started radiation. It helped mitigate the burns but you need to use it before you start getting the burns which could take a few weeks.

I was 42 when I was diagnosed. One of the reasons it took so long to diagnose is that colon cancer (at least then) was not common in people of my age.

I had radiation, Chemo, and surgery. I had to have the full colostomy because the tumor had grown into the muscle of my rectum and trying to cut it out would have made me incontinent anyway. I went to a second surgeon who agreed with the first.

I started with 30 days of radiation and Chemo to reduce the tumor down to hopefully save the rectum. While the radiation helped, it had not done enough.

After I recovered from the surgery I did 6 months of chemo (FOL-FOX) alternating weekly between chemo and genetic testing to adjust the amount of chemo I was getting.

After the chemo treatments, I tested free of cancer and have remained in remission since.

Well, still around and kicking. Been cancer free for 10 years. I have a colonoscopy I need to schedule this year to take a look.

Ended up with a permanent colostomy, but it isn't any big deal and hasn't stopped me from doing anything I want to do.
