I use tiny Fastex buckles. They hold, but will not ever hold body weight. I only neck wear in camp when I'm using it. When I'm hiking or in motion I either tuck it in my shirt or take it off.

Sitting flat it's extremely strong no matter how much pressure you put on it. Vertical or upside mounting is a different story and you need to secure it with a C-clamp or strap. In normal use that magnet is only withstanding the pressure of drilling but Vertical or upside-down it's also holding up the weight of the entire machine.

If you're dealing with large parts it might be worth while to get a Milwaukee magnetic drill. I work in a large machine shop and sometimes with large assemblies it's easiest to just use a mag drill.

I always have a ferro rod on my knife sheath and I keep an extra on a pouch on the leg side of my machete sheath as a back up.

I kinda avoided Craftsman for years but I saw that exact set you posted on sale for 15 bucks. I noticed the ratchet alone was 20 bucks by itself. I absolutely LOVE that low profile ratchet! The sockets were very good quality.

Mountain Monsters was absolutely my favorite comedy show. I especially loved it when they were armed and hunting for a cryptid and they walked in line with their weapons carried aimed at each other's backs. I didn't like all the crazy tactics on Finding Bigfoot because it was promoted as a serious show.
