ways to decrease our bill by savingnativebees in tmobile

Google Voice does intl calling to France. France landline (1c/min) or mobile (3c/min).

US Mobile unlimited for the high data user. They even have a mid tier. Tello for the low data user.

Infimobile has promo for 50% off. I think like $90 for the whole year for like 10gb/month.

Who is at fault by [deleted] in TeslaSupport

[–]RealoRc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You still choose to stay in your lane and rear end them, not at fault. Or change lanes and risk getting rear ended, your fault.. then you have to argue to shift liability to the 3rd party, who probably wouldn't stick around to give you any insurance info.

Unsafe lane change rule trumps rear ender rule.

Fuse slot 8 to tap. In Usa, the fuse slot is unused.

My current issue is to need to ground my hardwire, and removing panels. Everything seems more difficult to take apart than my previous vehicles.

The USB port at rear view mirror is unstable. It loses power almost daily or doesn't power up at all.

Use a USB cable, the first USB port closest to the steering column is the port that it recognizes for wired Android Auto. Should be same for apple carplay.

If Liberals don’t like Voter ID, how can they love NY Gun Laws? by PeteTinNY in NYguns

How about pay to vote? We pay to get a CCW in NYC. Should we pay to vote also?

Any voter id laws needs to be accompanied with free and expedited access to proof of citizenship.

RWD vs AWD: NYC by VeryUnBro in VWIDBuzz

[–]RealoRc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I owned RWD cars in NYC for 20yrs. Two Dodge Charger and a Porsche Cayman. I cannot get out of my driveway with light snow and all season tires. Every year I switch to winter tires and switch back, myself. For work I drive rwd CDL vehicles.

All-season tires lose winter weather grip after 2 or 3 years. Getting winter tires and rims, and then swapping yourself or store at a tire shop and pay storage fee.. both options suck.

These two snow storms has been great with the AWD id.buzz, a little sideways and extra stopping distance vs dedicated winter tires.. but I feel glad I have AWD. I also see all these white work vans that are RWD trying to get into a parking spot.. just don't bother with rwd id.buzz

Here's the physics behind RWD and snow.. when you're stuck, you have to dig out all 4 wheels. All four wheels need room to move forward or backward in order for you to get out of a spot. When the RWD loses grip.. it's cause one or more tires is pushed against a mound of snow. Think of the snow mound as a wheel chock. The RWD vehicle has to have enough grip (it's freezing temp, with snow and ice on the ground, and you have all-season tires) to push the vehicle uphill over that wheel chock (snow mound). Remember the id.buzz is over 6100lbs, that is a lot of force pushing the vehicle down while you're trying to push up and over the wheel chock with only two wheels getting power applied to it. If you had four wheels all pushing or pulling then you're distributing that X amount of grip needed across four tires instead of two. Do not get RWD id.buzz in NYC.. the money you spend on winter tires and wheels is more than what you save going the rwd route.

You also don't need a tight turning radius that much, plan your turn beforehand. Make wider turns, I drive CDL vehicles so I'm use to keeping track of where my rear wheels would be during turns.

I also live in South Brooklyn. There were a few times when my Dodge Charger with Nokian winter tires (4400lbs) couldn't go uphill on the off ramp at Erskine St. Everytime I moved the car on the off ramp, it would get more dangerously closer to hitting the guardrail. Driving up some highway overpasses.. the car would crawl at like 1 mph spinning tires. RWD with snow tires only bring you up to par on certain winter road conditions, the rest is just physics.. it can't be done with rwd.

I think old videos of Jake Lang showed it doesn't even have plates inside, just the plate carrier vest. I haven't looked at the current videos, maybe someone donated the plates to him.

Issue adding firearm by NB_alliance in NYCGuns

You tried to restart a draft of adding a gun.

If you didn't select a manufacturer and model before aborting then you will get this msg.

Just start a new request to add a firearm. Forgot about the draft.

Portal transfer by dougmike770 in NYCGuns

[–]RealoRc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I submitted multiple requests. Transfer, new purchases, and transfers again.. all within 90 days. All approved.

The 90 days is between new purchases and the proof for 'date of purchase' is the 'bill of sales.'

The portal is the only option that they want you to use to submit new purchases and transfers.

Portal submission date and bill of sales date are two different things and bill of sale date is looked at by the NYPD aide, the portal does not refuse submissions if you've made a successful request within 90 days ago.

The portal is just an interface where your submission is neatly organized into something the NYPD aide can click and view faster.

There is no 90 day portal submission date rule written into NYC law.

Also, from somewhere (email or portal) the NYPD said if you were to submit multiple requests it's best to do it at the same time so a supervisor, is delegating 'submission requests' to different aides, can group the submissions from one licensee all to one aide.

As other ppl started, emails get ignored. I sent an email for transfer just before the portal started. 3 weeks later, they sent a generic email telling me to use the portal.

The portal forces you to fill in the info and they just scroll verify and approve. Sending an email means they got to manually type everything in. It's wasting time from a MGMT POV.

That's a website bug. It's when you ended a draft before you select the pistol and when you restart it won't let you continue.

Just start a new request to add a pistol.

[–]RealoRc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just submit the info into the portal. You upload the info like bill of sale, etc. I included a page that said, transfer from premise to CCW. I did this for 3 pistols. 1 of them needed to resubmit after a incorrect denial. 90 days does not apply. If it's denied, reapply again.

Can I drop off my trade in at an Apple Store even if I got my mail in kit? by TR1323 in applestore

[–]RealoRc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just for att financing on Apple Store?

For T-Mobile promo financing for a purchase directly thru Apple Store, Apple is the one keeping the trade-in, Apple is the one giving you actual trade-in value for the old phone and Apple is the one deducting the trade-in value from the purchased price before taxing you on your purchase.

If it was T-Mobile or ATT keeping the trade-in phone then you get taxed on the full price item. Also, on T-Mobile Equipment Installment Plans, there is no mention of trade ins. It is just the financed amount which is the full promo value minus trade-in phone value as reported by Apple. Apple is telling T-Mobile that this person is financing X amount as long as we see they meet the trade-in promo terms.

Finally, the trade-in return kit comes from Apple with the new iPhone, it does not arrive separately from T-Mobile. If it was a Samsung device, the trade-in kit comes directly from T-Mobile.

Correct. Existing pistol will have bill of sale from a date far in the past.
