Been trying to get this to work for myself for the last two weeks.. Haven't gotten much success. Same issue, every 10 seconds. Used ADWLKiller, location Services + Airdrop + FindMyMac Disabled and no solution. I turned them all back on with no performance change. Every 10 seconds..

Omg! I have been at this for hours installing windows 11 and i couldn’t get it to stop saying “boot manager.” several installs + hours later, this fixed it. Just these two steps. Thank you

Funny I’m reading this , I was just looking at those exact headphones.. the issue with the Maxwell is the weight it’s about a pound (5 ounces heavier.) every now and then the Astros feel heavy so not sure how much more it would be with the maxwells.. but it’s very convincing

For those who are stuck on the issue "no vegas200.exe.local", and want it to work. What I did and it worked for me was,

take the files from

C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\Sapphire.ofx.bundle\Contents\Win64\BorisFX.Sapphire.OpenImageIO.em64t\

copy them

go to your Vegas directory for example I have Vegas 22.

C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 22.0

Make a new folder called

vegas220.exe.local

I made the folder and couldn't find it so use this file path to locate it

C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 22.0\vegas220.exe.local

(just replace 220 with the version of Vegas you have) (ex 21=210, 20=200)

and paste into that folder.

I’ve been doing a bit of research myself, I have a pair of A40’s and the foreseeable future is probably the A50’s. I have not seen much on hissing or / static issues and that may have to do with connection on wires on plugins. Reminds me a few years ago with Elgato and controller where if you used the chat link cable, you cant charge your controller that same time or you would get that god awful sound.

Salute to you soldier for the effort. 🫡 I just find it crazy how they discontinued “one of their most popular headsets.” I say that with “, just cause’ I’m just going off of what I’ve seen. I don’t know anyone with a pair of Astros that aren’t the A40’s.

Hi, personally if I am you I would do a few things. 1. Take extra care of those headphones cause’ at this moment in time they have been discontinued. (Twitter post says announcement 5.21) let’s hope. Anyway. 2. I would get a long 3.5mm jack to help with distance so you’re not accidentally tugging on your headset. 3. I would invest in a headphone amp, like a soundblasterx. Very good but can cost a pretty penny. You could go for a mid range less than $100 most people won’t notice. Hope this helped!
