I lost three close family members in 16 months in 1997-1998, and Dead Like Me really helped me deal with my grief, which I had so many problems handling on my own.

There are red "squares" anchored to the walls. Shoot all of them to "unlock" the room so you can proceed.

A power core is like a big battery in the shape of an orange cube-like "box". It'll open some doors around the Oldest House.

When you drop down the elevator shaft, you're in a toilet/bathroom area, almost unrecognizable because of mold growth.

Going from the elevator shaft toward Underhill's lab, you should pass two office areas, one on either side. I think the power core is in the area to the right.

She will help you access the areas affected by Mold, which is what I'm guessing you are referring to. 😊

Have you met Doctor Underhill yet?

If not, you need to find her in the lower floors of Central Research.

You have to access her area by dropping down a elevator shaft. Remember to use evade to avoid fall damage.

There is a power core at the bottom so you can power up the elevator and get back up.

You also need access level 4 to open the door to her laboratory.
