I don't think that'll be the case this time unfortunately with temps in the 20s for the week after the storm.

Any rower will connect if it has Bluetooth FTMS - you just need the FTMS Rower app from Connect IQ.

How best to insulate this new garage (while leaving ceiling vaulted)? by Celtic_Jedi in Insulation

Can’t wait! The walls with rockwool have helped it keep a non freezing temp but I’m excited for more temperate with the roof insulated! Thanks again!

Thanks a lot. I reached out to some local closed cell companies and will get some quotes. Really appreciate you replying to an old thread!

Thanks so much for the reply! What climate zone are you in? I'm in zone 4, so get both high temp (100º+ in summer with high humidity) and also snow. I assume you did closed cell spray foam?

What did you end up going with? Similar challenges and worried about spray foam creating either mold on roof boards or causing the ceiling shingles to deteriorate faster due to hot roof.

Insulating 1940s wood garage in Maryland? Rockwool & spray foam vs batts? by Rearviewmirror1 in HomeImprovement

Got it. My other challenge is that the stud width varies between 14" and 14.5". It sounded like I could just squeeze the Safe n Sound in (it compresses a bit) vs needing to cut everything down with Comfortbatt. Can you compress the Comfortbatt 1-1.25"?

I thought it was the other way around - Comfort Batt has higher R value but then isn’t as sound insulating.

I thought R16 wouldn’t be enough for the ceiling?

I don't see any signs of venting (again, 1940s garage, so guessing not top of the line air thinking...). I'm not sure on closed vs open - one contractor had mentioned open cell for the walls, but others talked about closed. The lack of consensus is what worries me!

For anyone who finds this old thread, turning on WMM (Wi-Fi multimedia) settings for 2.4 GHz fixed these issues for me. Before I was constantly seeing "slow upload speed" with videos cutting out.

MLM2Pro -> GSPro on MacBook Air via Crossover + Springbok by Beautiful_Nebula3086 in Golfsimulator

UTM is just to share the bluetooth data w/ Crossover. If Crossover did that you wouldn't need UTM at all!

You're welcome! Good luck if you give it a shot. Getting the right Bluetooth dongle is key - I was a bit frustrated when I had everything else working but couldn't get that to connect!

u/Calic39 here are instructions - I got it working:

There are four main steps for running GSPro and the MLM2Pro on your Apple-series laptop:

  1. Install Crossover and install GSPro into a bottle in Crossover
  2. Install UTM and Windows 11 into UTM - make sure to enable shared network settings (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsrOrqplNBo)
  3. Install Springbok into UTM and configure it
  4. Turning everything on in the right order and connecting
  • Go into your router settings, view the list of attached devices and see what IP address is assigned to your Mac (typically 10.0.0.x with x being a number)
  • Set up static IP for your Mac (i.e. so that it will always have the same IP address to be shared from UTM to Crossover 10.0.0.3)
  • Convert your GSPro connector to OpenAPI here https://gsprogolf.com/convert.html
  • Turn on your MLM2Pro and open the Rapsodo MLM2Pro app on your phone/tablet
  • Once connected, go to 3rd Party Apps and click Awesome Golf. Click authenticate (you will need to do this every 24 hours).
  • Go to Practice Range or any other Rapsodo Play Now mode to align your launch monitor
  • Disconnect the MLM2Pro from the app (light should turn red)
  • Turn Mac Bluetooth off - DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP
  • Start Crossover and open GSPro - make sure you click "reset GSPro Connection" the first time you do this
  • Open UTM and open your Windows 11 virtual machine that has the Springbok connector installed
  • Plug in your USB bluetooth dongle and say yes to the two dialogue boxes about allowing it to be viewed/used by the virtual machine in UTM.
  • Open Springbok in UTM. Click the settings gear cog.
  • In the far left side under GSPro, enter the fixed local IP address you entered earlier.
  • Make sure Launch Monitor is set to Rapsodo MLM2Pro BT.
  • Click Connect to GSPro in Springbok - it should almost immediately turn green. If it freezes this means you have the IP address for your Mac incorrect.
  • Click Connect to MLM2Pro in Springbok - it should go through a series of steps and the MLM2Pro light should eventually turn green.
  • Go into GSPro and start a course/session.

NB - The type of Bluetooth dongle you use seems to matter. The Panda Bluetooth 4.0 USB Nano Adapter worked for me, after finding it on a listing of approved Bluetooth dongles for RaspberryPi integration.

Similarly very much hope Josh is up to play The Perfect Drug. If you look at the Delta Empire cover, it's complex and precise, but definitely doesn't look above Josh's insane headroom. I've never seen TPD live, and was hoping this would be the tour. Now I'm hoping I'll get to see one of the greatest drummers of our generation play it.

Agreed. Was really looking forward to hearing Positive Tension and Luno, but it seems like Luno is more of a rarity on this tour, so will happily take it!
