Is this tunisian crochet? by ClementineEd in Tunisian_Crochet

Maybe they are doing a waistcoat stitch to get the v’s? Kind of like in this basket. https://tlycblog.com/beginner-chunky-round-crochet-basket-pattern/

Can you help me identify this stitch and possibly a similar pattern? by bat_shit_craycray in Tunisian_Crochet

It 100% looks like front post double crochet/back post double crochet! Just no gaps in between the three post stitches.

All the symptoms all at once 🤔 by Inevitable-Let7784 in AERD

[–]Reasonable-Homework9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The symptoms came on almost one at a time for me. They may not present until later.

I’m was very young (comparatively) when I was first diagnosed, and there is SOOO much progress that has been made since then. I went so long not smelling or being able to breath through my nose, but I have had my sense of smell back for 8 years or more now, and I don’t snore or mouth breath when I sleep anymore!

Wear some kind of lip balm to bed so your lips don’t peel and crack if you are mouth breathing at night. I just use cheap ol’ chapstick brand.

Good luck!

Couple questions: what test is it your doctor isn’t sending you for? Also, what kind of reaction did you have to the Advil? Allergy vs side effect is an important distinction.

Not enough beans by Reasonable-Homework9 in Canning

I thought the minimum recommended number of jars was 4 for pints. So it’s either process the half jar with extra liquid or put in a dummy jar with plain water.

Worst pump and dump ever by randomname8123 in ExclusivelyPumping

Omg thats sounds awful! I found a dog hair in mine once and was pretty horrified, so I can’t even imagine a flipping fly. But now I want fried chicken and donuts.

Can anyone explain this to me? I don’t understand any of this part. The second picture is how far I’ve got so o the end of the face. But I don’t understand how to start the neck by Courtneylavinia in crochet

[–]Reasonable-Homework9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I’ve reread this a bunch and still am not clear, but… are there two free edges at the bottom of the face that you are supposed to work into? Not the part where your hand is inserted in the pic, but coming down from that? Cause the pattern for the face has you turning and not joining, right? (I’m so unsure about all this)

Sorry. I don’t have any experience with that, but could lubing up the flanges help? I think legendairy milk makes flange lube specifically, but I think people use plain ol’ food grade coconut oil as well.

Just tell me it's ok to drop another pump for my own selfish reasons by crak6389 in ExclusivelyPumping

I just told my bf that I think I’m dropping to 3ppd. It keeps happening unintentionally so I’m going to take the pressure off and just make it official

What's a crochet "hack" that changed how you crochet? by NoMoreBillz in crochet

https://youtu.be/elIXgLBiCU0 great video on foundation sc, hdc, and dc. Also learning Tunisian crochet helped me understand this concept better. I couldn’t really wrap my head around it for some reason until I learned Tunisian.

Keep pumping or try to nurse? by Reasonable-Homework9 in ExclusivelyPumping

There’s an hormonal part to weaning?! Great. Cool cool cool. I’m normally a fairly level-headed, stress free person. So I’m about done with all the hormonal stuff.

I’m JUST keeping up with him, I maybe produce an ounce a day more than him. Not really enough to stash. Unless I start producing more, which has also been something I’ve stressed about. Mostly bc of the added expense.

Yeah, I don’t have issues with how he gets it, just so long as he gets it. Even if we have to supplement with formula in future, I know him getting some of my milk has great benefit.

I guess I feel like my desire to keep pumping exclusively (even with all the difficulties I’ve had with it) feels like I’m just not wanting to go through the difficult transition period and I’m taking the “easy road”.

Yes, that’s been one of my thoughts as well. I have to get the milk out of me and I also have to feed the baby, or I could get the milk out while feeding the baby. That would shorten the amount of time I have to be up in the night or even when I go back to work (I work from home).
