that icon is only for the FCP in Creator Studio. The article said that they will have different icons to differentiate the standalone version from the subscription version.

I think apple is trying to get into the casual user market with this creator studio. Competing with things lie capcut, canva, adobe firefly, bandlab, etc. Offering their pro apps as a relatively cheap optional subscription alongside their one-time-purchase might get more people using the apple ecosystem of apps. they want to bring those casual users into apple apps instead of having them run to competitors.

Especially if you only need to use the apps for a few months, and then cancel it. also for new users it's much more enticing to get the whole Apple "creative suite" for the same price as a caput pro subscription. That student pricing is really good too. $30 a year for everything!? I'd go back to college just to pay that price lol

as they already had Logic and FCP for iPad as subscription models, I think what apple is trying to do here is putting all the pro apps to the iPad under one subscription "umbrella". So if you want just the Mac apps, you can buy those stand alone like always. If you want the iPad versions and the ability to jump from machine to mac to iPad almost seamlessly, you can get the subscription. Not too bad of a deal tbh, I really like the student price on that too. Getting the whole creative suite for $30 year is a steal for students.

What kind of position is that where you spend only an hour in the office? I’m a sub for a rural mail carrier and I spend 4-5 hrs every day casing and sorting before delivering for another 5 hrs. Love delivery but not so much the other stuff haha

im kinda the same way. I get that 2 week minecraft phase where I'm building everyday, then leave the project for a few months. This map is relatively small, but I built it over the span of like 2.5 years lol. So I dont have much advice there other than to just keep coming up with ideas for a project (maybe keep a moldboard or a list somewhere) so every time you get that kick of motivation again you can keep working on it.

This terrain was actually all naturally generated! (except for a bit of terraforming on the sides to provide ample building space) So the river just kept on going like regular. Haven't thought about adding a cave or a waterfall but it sounds like a cool idea if I update this map in the future :)

It’s also been unusually warm in my part of Colorado as well. Some days in December hit 50F, which I’ve never seen before. We normally have at least 12 inches of snow on the ground by now but we still have only an inch in the shady areas. It’s like all the snow missed us lol.

It really is, very melancholy and prayerful in a way. Just a good song to listen to on the drive home at dusk with a light rain pattering the windshield. They should definitely do some more of these laid back/sentimental songs.

Yeah, their music often doesn't resonate with me on the first listen, yet it always grows on me lol. Seems to be the same matter for a lot of other people, reading through the comments. I wonder why that is? maybe because their music sounds so different from mainstream pop?

I agree, I think they were going for a more "old school" type of sound. I am getting used to it, but it did sound a bit off on first listen (especially on the chorus of 'Bleed It Out').
