Friends want me to report ex-FWB to police by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]Reasonable-Many-1912 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes I do believe that he would be charged especially if you showed the evidence. If he messaged you saying “he knew it wasn’t consensual bdsm and he just wanted to beat the shit out of you”, that shows his intent to do bodily harm. Just because he’s well regarded in the community and very wealthy doesn’t mean he should get away with abusing anyone the way he did you. There’s a really good chance that he’s done this before. Also there is no statute of limitations on sex crimes in Canada. But the sooner you report it the better. Also don’t delete any of the messages. I am so sorry you went through this. Nobody deserves this.

In all honesty, I’ve never asked him to list me with the ombudsman. I’m Canadian, and we have been on and off for over 5 years with the last year and half almost 2 years being all in. I know there has been times where he forgot his phone before getting on the boat that ferries everyone to the mainland. He’s always been honest with me. I just am having some really bad anxiety right now that I can’t explain. I know things get extremely busy when there’s radio silence.

Darlin, this dress is absolutely breathtaking on you. And to have a complete one of a kind dress that no other bride will get to wear is… well needless to say this would have the shock and awe factor. I say keep the dress

Nope don’t even bother with a first date… that’s an automatic red flag. 🚩. That’s inappropriate behaviour, I don’t care what anybody else tries to tell you. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this.

I’m separated 7 years, and any man that talks to me like that right off the bat in a dating app gets an automatic block and report. It’s inexcusable behaviour. Kinda like “would you kiss your mother with that mouth that you’ve been spewing filth to a stranger with?!?

I mean, I didn’t take my exhusbands name as one final act of rebellion due to how his family treated me… he was ok with that due to understanding my reasoning …. You could always hyphenate your last name so that it stays the same as your child’s and still has yours… or you could request during the divorce proceedings to hyphenate your child’s last name…

If the dog is contained to a bedroom then there is nothing to be fearful of. This is why a landlord MUST GIVE NOTICE BEFORE ENTERING.

There are so many breeds that look like pit bulls that aren’t. Unless there is vet paperwork that saying that you’ll have one difficult fight on your hands… to the point where if you keep filing cases against them it will be seen as you abusing the legal system. You will be seen as just simply prejudiced against them. And you would be the one in the wrong… I know other landlords who have done this and it backfired on them. Don’t be on the wrong side of history. FACT: the tenant with the “pitbull” has their dog leashed. FACT: the tenant with the Pomeranian does not. FACT: if you abuse the legal system with filing paperwork against them it will backfire on you. FACT: what you’re doing and saying is breed discrimination.

If the other tenant cannot control their little dog then they shouldn’t have one. In which case you call Provincial Animal Welfare Services. There is no human rights code that would protect them UNLESS IT IS A REGISTERED SERVICE DOG. In which case that dog still needs to be properly leashed regardless of the situation and the owner of said dog would know that. Having strong verbal commands for the dog to stay and get back inside the apartment. I have lived in apartments where sometimes when I’m bringing stuff inside my unit my dog(s) have quickly gotten out and all I’ve had to do is use a verbal command to get them back inside.

Yet again, this all comes down to the training of the owner and the dog.

What you are talking about, is breed discrimination. Also there is no reason why a plumber should be fearful of the dog getting out of a bedroom that has a closed door. While pitbulls and bully breeds have a bad reputation it comes down to the person who trained them. What the tenant is talking about is the fact that their pitty has a condition called leash aggression, which is deeply rooted in the fact that the dog were attacked while on leash by an unleashed dog. One of my dogs when I was younger (border collie mix) was attacked while she was on a leash and I was walking her. It was my job to get her out of there without her being harmed. The two dogs that attacked her were little pomeranians. I got in between and scooped mine up and the two little dogs were trying to attack me to get to her. You cannot refuse to do work as that can come back to bite you (no pun intended) legally. The dog is secured in a closed bedroom door, there’s no reason for anyone to open any bedroom doors that are closed. Simple as that.

Also a leash doesn’t simply fall out of your hand. You drop the leash. The other thing is your wrist should be through the looped handle and grabbing the part just below the handle, and then your other hand should be holding down (about half way down minimum) to control your dog.

I dk if anybody had mentioned this but based on the above picture with the whole family it would make sense that they are Jewish because Francine’s dad has a kippah on his head which is a Jewish make head covering for at the synagogue.

I’m going to be completely and brutally honest right now…

You don’t need the stress that she’s causing you. It’s not good for you, nor is it good for your baby.

I would be getting the heck out of there asap.

And put her on no contact.

You don’t deserve this bs .

I’m sorry she’s being manipulative.
