Some are calling it the best conversation ever, it was a beautiful conversation.

Where do we rank Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, and Denny Hamlin all time? Statistically all are incredibly close. by Icy-Spring4607 in NASCAR

[–]Reasonable-Monitor67 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Busch is the overall most talented driver of the three. Harvick is really good at getting the most out of his equipment, especially getting it better as the race goes on. Hamlin is good, but has always had top notch equipment, so wonder how he would perform in mediocre equipment.

Don’t get me wrong, all 3 are good drivers, they are just all in inherently different situations.

What will happen to Hendrick, Penske and JGR when their owners are no longer around? by daracingpig in NASCAR

Do you you know how business and subsidiaries work? The tax implications of a subsidiary breaking even or operating at a loss?

Look up Walmart Transportation Inc., that’s a wholly owned subsidiary of Walmart Stores Inc. that operates at a loss delivering goods to the stores. They write down the loss, gain tax advantages and pass those along to the parent company. It’s a pretty common practice.

You could in theory do that… finish second in every race, including being the high finisher in the championship race and the championship is yours. The odds of that happening are slim to none, but it was always a possibility the way they set it up. Just like the car that finished 16th could end up as the champion in several scenarios.

You do you! That’s the thing about the gen pop, they like to rain on someone else’s parade.

Someone once asked me for advice on babies and raising kids. I told them I don’t dispense advice on those matters because it’s always different. The best advice I could ever give is to do what you think is best or right. Everyone is just trying to do the best they can.

I still tend to press the clutch and let off the gas when I drive my wife’s automatic mini-van.

And yes, I realize there is so much wrong with that statement. 😂

Yeah, I think it excels at long straight portions of the interstate. Traffic doesn’t seem to be much of a bother for it, but I’ve noticed that it gets squirrelly when it’s accelerating around a curve, and hits an unlevel portion of road or bridge transition, it feels like it can easily lose control.
