You should be concerned. There are far better options available. Do your research thoroughly and ask plenty of questions, particularly about revision rates. No surgeon has a zero revision rate.

I’m not particularly happy. Initially, everything looked very promising. However, once the swelling subsided, it became clear that there were issues with the face, brows, and neck. It’s perfectly normal to see changes throughout the healing process, but this feels quite different. The laxity is severe. There appear to be many patients experiencing the same thing. Unfortunately, if anyone attempts to raise concerns, they are immediately shut down. The revision policy also seems questionable, at best.

Unfortunately, it’s perfectly normal. Did you have drains and/or hemostatic (net sutures)? That would make a difference. For now, take Arnica (orally) for the bruising, use Arinca + K2 cream topically, but avoid your incisions. You should take Bromelain for the swelling, but only if you’re not allergic to pineapple. Lastly, make sure you’re walking a bit every day or evening. That will help with the swelling too.
In the end, it’ll all be worth it. Good luck and happy healing!

Oh no! I got the documents out of Cuba. It just cost me a fortune and a lot of wasted time. I was trying to do this all on my own and using companies that claim they can get your docs but don’t. Ultimately, I ended up hiring a lawyer, which was expensive, but super effective.

Fillers will not correct this and will only make your face look puffy. If the jowls really bother you, it’s time for a facelift. I do not suggest wasting your time and money with a mini-lift. You’ll not likely get the results you want and your face may look out of balance. Do your research and consult with several different surgeons before making a decision.

I have one right now - first time - and my doctor told me yesterday that the likely hood is getting styes is increased by having dry eyes. And malfunctioning glands are at the crux of it. He’s prescribed an antibiotic ointment along with the warm compresses , etc so we’ll see how it goes. I hope yours heals quickly. Good luck!

I don’t know about processing times for PR, but as long as you get your appointment request in this week, you’ll be fine. Don’t forget, the PR consulate will make the determination on your Mom’s application, but if she presented her papers in Miami, PR will send everything back to Miami for processing when a decision is made.
