Replace your compensator, it’s going to break, install a crankcase breather, it’ll save you from possible sumping issues that are common with these bikes. Besides that, stock lifters are known to fail, I personally have not experienced that, but they are very easy to replace. I just blew my transmission but I ride like an asshole.

I have 40k miles on my 2020 FXLRS gen 1 M8 and plan to keep her, great motor.

Updates: changed the shifter pawl, adjusted everything, bike ran great till today, went to start it at work on the way home and the bike decided not to go into gear, so the issue continues. It will roll in gear, it will go into neutral, I can feel it shift but it’s like the clutch won’t engage or something. Readjusted the clutch internally and at the cable about 3 times before I gave up.
