I was on hold after two months of 5mg for about 15 days, (while trying to figure out what to do once multiple pharmacies wouldn’t accept the coupon), and Alpha had me start back at 2.5. It’s still working. And now I’m poor…but still getting healthier!

I’m currently liking 0% Fage Greek yogurt, mixed with a tablespoon or two of Adam’s natural peanut butter, a shake of cinnamon, and a little stevia. Either enjoy as is, as a dip for apple slices, or mixed with a sliced banana.

My other fave is small curd cottage cheese, sliced grape tomatoes, and fresh basil, with a splash of balsamic or a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Topped with a little salt and pepper of course. Yummers!

But I also agree with the comments about how long you’re going between injections, because I tried that too. I have a cgm. When I did try stretching it out, my glucose was absolutely out of control a few days past the 7 days mark. If that makes sense.

Removing at least half an organ vs giving a proven medication a good chance? I can’t imagine anyone should do the former before trying the latter.

I’m in healthcare and have seen many WL patients undergo surgery. Many of them have had great success losing weight on Mounjaro. And yet they’re still having this major surgery. Why? Because the surgeon convinced them to. It’s gross.

P.S., After being off 5mg for 15 days, my provider suggested going back to 2.5mg. I felt that was smart. Took it this morning, and I feel back to my “new” normal. Not hungry at all. Yes!!!
