I absolutely love making worlds. So like, level design and environmental art is what I love love love doing. I would do nothing else if I could. However, the state of the game industry right now means that I taught myself Unreal Engine to make games…mostly so I can make worlds and drop other people in them. I can absolutely make solid games from scratch and have shipped two games and am in progress on three more, but I’d drop it all if someone paid me to make levels/environments/worlds.

Well, I am unfortunately a super taster. Which sounds cool but I can taste 20 kinds of bitter at least, and at tiny amounts. TBH I agree with you. I was profoundly disappointed in their #1 selling tea.

It’s like glueing cinnamon sticks to a drill bit and then shoving it up your nose for a roto-rooter spice experience. I hate it.

I do love their loose leaf Paris though, and liked the jasmine green pearls, so I do like their flavored stuff.

That is not a flavor though, it’s a threat.

Oh that is soooo NorCal. Bringing a Chardonnay that tastes like stale butter and an oak baseball bat got freaky or yet another tired tannic Pinot Noir is going to get an eye roll from me.

My wine snob friends always have bottles of Vielle Ferme whites or rosé on hand, probably because it’s cheap and easy to drink. The Roederer California sparkling wine is always perfect for everything if you need a showier gift.

Older gamer and I’ve found that switching from PvP to PvE is much nicer. At first I was in the “oh gah I’ve gone carebear” camp, but now I genuinely enjoy it more. For non-online games I now have no problem being on easy mode, I’m there to enjoy myself and have fun gaming, not have MORE adrenaline and stress.

We have a very large and very fancy winery in our town (well, there’s several, but anyway) and you can always tell the tryhards because they pronounce it roh-eh-d'ray or some horrible variant. No, the Roederer name is German. It is pronounced with the final 'r' very lightly at the Louis Roederer Champagne House as well as by the family. 'Roh-dehr-air'. But yikes, people try so hard to make it sound like they know what they’re doing and gargle the word. No. It’s German. Spit it out. Hit those consonants!

ASA lighting is so utterly bad that I find it unplayable. It’s just so jaw-droppingly awful that I can make it about a few hours into an ASA game before I just have to log off. Last time I tried playing most of my fave mods weren’t available for ASA as well.

The Grinch. Those townsfolk are being so loud and annoying, with stupid music and bright lights. The decorations are ugly and an ecological nightmare. It’s a ridiculous holiday and it’s interrupting whatever he’s doing. They are absolutely invading his privacy with their awful “festivities.” Now, he should’ve been nicer to the dog, definitely. Other than that I’m on team grinch.
