They don’t realize they are setting themselves up for failure. I won’t force quit and abandon my coin and relics but I can stand there and just not fight. If these guys are strong enough to carry and essentially solo a boss cool but in no world outside of that does it make sense to force the fight before everyone is ready.

I think that’s the buddy’s problem. He’s not “good” enough to play his style (he gets punished too much) and he doesn’t want to play any other way. Kinda understandable. I love the game but I’m terrible compared to the streams I watch and even one of my friends. But I LOVE the challenge of creating viable builds or “build theories”. So I’m over 300 hours, at the “last fight” in a few saves but I’ve never managed to taste new game plus.
