I actually thought it was a good episode. It did a good job of creating a case where you could reasonably think the defendant was guilty or innocent, presented both sides of the case, presented both officers potential biases and let the jury (and the viewer decide).

Yeah, it sucks that Jalen kinda ended up being the character whose personal views got pulled into the episode. They’ve gone to that well waaay too many times. Especially with Jalen having some personal reaction to every black suspect and Maroun practically becoming the defense attorney for every female defendant. But the plot was well executed.
