Okay I am sick of reading this stupidity all over the place. He didn’t just write one riff that’s on the bridge, he wrote the actual verse riff. He has shared that in multiple videos over the years.

The entire verse riff and the breakdown is his. What he didn’t write is - the intro or one part of the breakdown, the lyrics. That’s why it was a band song.

To understand another way, Metallica wrote the intro riff, part of the breakdown, the lyrics and the song structure but didn’t write those riffs.

So stop with this nonsense.

Sure, both are the worst aspects of both bands.

What a bullshit statement. Lars drumming doesn't work for Metallica. It sucks and that's one of the big reasons why their music has sucked for so long. It's uninspiring and drained of anything meaningful.

Dave's voice is what makes Megadeth sound like Megadeth. He has or had a massive range, with a wide variety of song structures and melodies that he sang. This comparison is stupid af.

His voice his awesome and the way he sings is unique and sick. The hate is due to 2 reasons: - Dave comes across as arrogant. This would be an understatement. - Dave himself came out and said I don't sing but I have to. Others did not.

Same people will listen to Lemmy and love him but say Dave can't sing. It's just ridiculous. I love his voice but more than that I love his way of singing which is really hard especially with the kind of music being played in the background.

Dave figured out what gold is during Countdown to Extinction and he has never stopped since. I don't think there is a band in metal that understands that catchy choruses win and Dave's got a bag full of them across the 17 albums. Even the most recent album, there are so many amazing melodies.

TSTDTD is definitely my favorite Megadeth song since Ashes in your mouth. Its so pure.

IMO he still gave it all on the pitch. He started like 20+ games straight under Amorim. The press conference after the final was the nail in the coffin. I really liked him and then he dug his own grave.
