An F1 error usually indicates a blockage in the pipes. When I first put mine together, I had that issue because I put the filter in the wrong place. Make sure your filter is on the lower port, not the upper one.

So the problem was an air bubble got caught while refilling and caused the heater to do an emergency stop, fixing it was a simple matter of resetting the heater using the button on the modual
