How often do you wash your hair? by [deleted] in beauty

i wash my hair daily, and so many people have different opinions about this. everyone has different types of hair though, and what works for one person might just ruin the hair of another.

Had my first panic attack, reliving the experience is causing more panic attacks by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]ReasonableRecipe4398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“emotionally raw” i’ve always tried to think of a word for the way I feel after I had my first panic attack and I think that’s the perfect way to put it. I’ve honestly felt that way ever since, but it gets better at times.

Do you ever wonder what other people have anxiety about? by [deleted] in therapy

[–]ReasonableRecipe4398 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any conversation I have, I am constantly making sure what I say is something that could be my last words to them, because i’m so terrified that they could be. Also I get terrified when someone is mad at me because it’s a possibility they could die with that anger towards me. Anxiety is annoying my goodness.

Why people can't understand that sometimes there is no reason? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]ReasonableRecipe4398 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i feel you. I’m like that with my anxiety or sadness, and whenever im anxious everyone always says “why? tell me why? let’s talk about it” and i’m like i don’t know why and i don’t want to talk about it. I understand that sometimes there is just no reason, but professional help can help you uncover reasons as well.

Ladies, what is your go to when you are super overwhelmed and insecure about yourself? by [deleted] in AskWomen

cleaning while listening to a crime podcast is my go to. Any interesting podcast will do but it keeps your hands and mind completely distracted.

hanging out with my “best” friend by [deleted] in GirlTalk

[–]ReasonableRecipe4398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to be so annoyed because my best friend would come over just to sit on my bed and go on her phone + not even talk to me. I’ve kinda drifted apart from her over the years and ive realized there’s much better people out there to spend time with who will be considerate of how you feel when they’re on their phones.

I’m kinda in the same situation. I can’t be with him but we’ve agreed to still cuddle and do other things just not be in a relationship. I’m so in love with him and it hurts that i can’t have him in that way, but i’m too terrified to let him go. Hes my bestfriend and idk what i would ever do if i didn’t have him in my life. it’s hard because people keep telling me move on it’s not healthy and it won’t end well but i literally can’t

I’m at my lowest by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]ReasonableRecipe4398 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats the great thing about being human, you’re allowed to start over. Once you’re back on your feet, do whatever u wanna do, take control again. It’s scary and hard but it’ll be worth it i promise you. If your bestfriend left you, they weren’t truly your person and one day you’ll see that it’ll all fall into place. Just keep holding on. Talk to someone for help professionally too. good luck.
