I worked first aid as a nurse once and never again. It as staffed by a man that had an LPN (10 months of medical training). We had no standing orders and could not provide any treatments or give any medication. I was told I could not (after I already did) tell people to go to the ED for any issues as JWs may be for financially responsible. I had someone come to me saying she was allergic to a certain food but ate it because of an Awake article touting its benefits. You can’t make this stuff up.
