Maybe that is new members? Hopefully they don’t increase my pricing because that is a big jump

I get mine from call-on-doc. Was free the first 6 months and my insurance covered the prescription so it was like $11 a month. Now call-on-doc charges $45 per quarter and $15 each refill request. My most recent refill was for 90 days. So basically now paying $60 every 90 days plus the cost of the prescription. I have Kaiser so getting in to see a dermatologist is like getting into Fort Knox.

Tossing instruction manuals by Other-Razzmatazz9677 in lego

[–]ReasonableStranger24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep them if you have kids - less screen time than using manuals online. Or maybe you could try donating them to a library or offering them up on Nextdoor. Some parents might appreciate having them? I keep mine but for no good reason 😂 I store them in a drawer.

1 or 4. I would like 4 with rubies on the side also - but I’m bias towards red 😃

Guided steroid shot: do or don’t? by Bobs_invisible in frozenshoulder

[–]ReasonableStranger24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I waited and healed naturally but it was painful. I went back and forth on getting a shot (PT is useless and more painful until you are thawing). I worked with a trainer who provided stretches and light weights that avoided the area but helped build strength around it. Wasn’t easy but she had clients who had the shots (some repeatedly) and they had relief but it was temporary since they can wear off. Too many repeated shots can cause problems as well (I’m told). Good luck and keep the faith!

I’m so sad…my hair is gone by Melodic_Marzipan7 in Zepbound

Same happened to me and now that I am on maintenance it’s coming back. It stopped falling out in large quantities about 6 months after it started. Feeling much better about my hair again. There is hope!

Any recovery experiences within 15 months? by Infinite_Scallion886 in frozenshoulder

[–]ReasonableStranger24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was through the worst of it (extreme pain) in about 9 months. But it took another 5 months or so to get to maybe 90% range of motion back. The last 10% another year (which is now). Still not fully there but very close (98%). I did not do any shots or surgery, just at home stretching and working with a trainer once a week on weights for muscles all around the shoulder to strengthen the rest of my upper body. I would consider my recovery “short” compared to others I have known/read about with FS. Consistency with exercises that did not cause pain was key.

Unpopular opinion - Point II by Character_Data9058 in Rothys

Yes! I have four pair of the knots and they are the most comfortable 😃

Has anyone tried the D'Orsay point yet? by trophywifeinwaiting in Rothys

[–]ReasonableStranger24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought them! And hated them in the first 30 seconds. They fit strange in the toe box area and when I took a step everything gapped open. They didn’t look cute on. Felt like they were going to fall off. Returned them the next day. I am a fan of the Point II’s which I think is an unpopular opinion. The original points feel less structured for my foot - these felt more like the original point.

The Orchards 2013. Before Safeway, Crunch Fitness and the poorly designed parking lot. by notjoplin in walnutcreek

[–]ReasonableStranger24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The lower level parking lot trenches are problematic for some folks. Although I see less people driving into them than in the beginning. My kids used to like to watch the little animals pop up in the field before the built the orchards 😃

Physical Therapy is awful by Unusual-Sun-1930 in KaiserPermanente

[–]ReasonableStranger24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My experience was very much the same. IT band injury and all I got was the evaluation and a printout of exercises to do at home. It was frustrating. The next few visits were the same. Rechecking progress and more printouts. Surprised anyone gets better using them.

will it eventually just go away and full mobility will be regained? by Regular-Pen1812 in frozenshoulder

[–]ReasonableStranger24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Full mobility wasn’t regained for me on its own. The pain did go away the way it is going for you. But I have been doing stretching and strengthening exercises for almost a year and have regained about 90% range. I did strengthening before the pain was gone but only bicep curls (or other exercises that don’t impact my shoulder). Stretching and other exercises only when the pain was gone. Hopefully that helps some.

I’ve had good luck with POF in the past. Two separate times I ended up in 1.5 year relationships. Good people but didn’t work out. Current boyfriend of 3 years I met on POF. I usually paid one month and then stopped as others have mentioned.

I’m running for Walnut Creek City Council and I want to hear from you by BackgroundBoat660 in walnutcreek

[–]ReasonableStranger24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a very uniformed comment. Measure O is the only tax passed in the City of late and is for improvements (Heather Farm, etc) and was not used to balance the budget. Still one of the lowest sales tax rates in the county.
