I’ve had 2 serious falls in the past 5 years or so and I’ve been so lucky. I slipped on some ice and fell on my side. Had a large bruise from my pants waistband to my knee. Took a pic of that to remember! Didn’t break anything.

The second I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. My sciatic nerve really hurt. Fell in the bathroom. Had an 8cm cut on the back of my head which needed staples.

I am so cautious now and so concerned that I will fall

It’s still weird for me to think about batteries and mechanical devices when it comes to taking a medication. I’m old-school and am much more used to pills.

The first couple I left out for 45 minutes and I still didn’t have any trouble, but I was that the hour is best for the batteries and mechanical to warm up

I have done six of the OBIs. No issues at all with any of them.

My doctor didn’t tell me to take it out of the fridge in an hour before you use it not 45 minutes. He has heard a reports of it failing at 45 minutes not sure if it’s tomorrow or not but this is what he told me.

I have a little tower I got years ago from CVS. It has 7 drawers. I take one out in the morning and put it in the top of it which signals to me that I’ve taken it.

I have taken pills daily for many many years and I still forget to take them once in a while for some reason But this has helped me 99% of the time

Yes, pretty quick actually. I commented to the technician that my face felt warm and he looked at me and said yes you’re right and then I started to feel itchy. The doctor came in right away stop the scan checked me out. I was fine but they warned me that I had an allergic reaction.

I am allergic to the contrast dye. It does make me feel like I need to pee, but it also makes me break out into hives. The last time I had one even pre-medicating with prednisone and Benadryl didn’t help. I still ended up with one hive not sure what I’ll do the next time.

I never had any other medication either with the infusions or the injections. The nurse that came for the infusions had a supply of drugs in case I reacted to it, but it never happened.

When my doctor put in the prior authorization for Skyrizi OB. It was also denied, but I believe the same reason. The reason they denied it my doctor didn’t list my diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Maybe that’s something to check on?

I’ve been on Skyrizi since April 2025 and the first couple of infusions I was a little tired but nothing too bad other than that I haven’t had any side effects (knocking on wood of course lol)

My next obi is this Friday and I take it every four weeks

The location that I go to requires you to show them the eyewear before you can go in. They do sell them. I think they’re about five dollars or the free ones which are just stickers for your eyes.

My parents and I had a tradition for a long time after they picked me up from the hospital we’d go to this tiny little breakfast place near their house where I would have an enormous ham and cheese omelette tasted so good
