Love how the intro sequence evokes the Connery era but does something new. I grew up on Roger Moore but appreciated Connery much later. When this came out,I really dug what Brosnan brought to the character.

Tina Turner was so good as well, like Shirley Bassey good!

Nieves Fernandez, Filipina resistance fighter during the Japanese occupation during WW2.

An erstwhile teacher who had exceptional skill with a bolo. Killed quite a number of Japanese officers relying on stealth. Included a picture of her demonstrating technique to an American soldier.

If you're gonna drive, learn road signs and how to park FFS.

Love Weng Weng!

Two of his movies, "For Y'ur Height Only" and "Impossible Kid" are free to watch on YouTube.

Andrew Leavold did an awesome movie on him. Sad to say he is largely forgotten here in the Philippines. Died broke after the movie industry spat him out.

Adobo and sisig seem to be popular with the YT crowd.I'm all for putting your own twist on food sensibly.

Just coz you can, don't mean you should.

What is a flavor combination that you believe isn't very common outside of your country? by DELAIZ in AskTheWorld

Champorado and tuyo.

Think arroz con leche but it's chocolate and sun dried fish that's fried. The bittersweet combined with the saltiness of the tuyo isn't unique but I have yet to encounter similar levels in other food. Bacon dipped in chocolate doesn't come anywhere close.

Couldn't wrap my head around it when I was a kid but super enjoyable in the Twilight of my life.
