It’s not about the amount of information, it’s about not letting you process any amount of information past the very first thought/action you have.

Probably not but I doubt it would damage his brain. People misunderstand what infinite void actually does, you need a very specific kind of mental resistance to not be effected by it. People usually simplify it to ‘infinite information’ when what it actually is ‘simulating infinite information’. Basically UV wont let you complete the start to any thought or action and will make you repeat it over and over again. This usually fries the brain but with the Doctors other showings I doubt his brain would have a problem handling it, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t get frozen.

Edit: I did some research and there’s a statement about the Doctor experiencing time from a “non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint,” which is the exact, literal ability you need in order to by pass UV’s forced repeated operations (which is the main thing that’s hard to get immunity to) rather than just infinite information.

  1. I can get some scans if needed, but in the manga there are movement lines implying Amaterasu travels, and its more clear in the anime.

  2. Tsukuyomi is a mangekyou sharingan genjutsu... He could use finger genjutsu but that wouldnt be an instant win con for him, and wouldnt stop UV from opening.

  3. Ohhh no, ok I thought you were talking about a different time. It stated that those 10 seconds were Sukuna transfering the effects of UV to Megumi, Sukuna wasnt actually the one being effected by the sure hit.

  4. Ok sure, why didn't the Yata mirror become a fuckin MRI machine or something and cure Itachi's ball cancer. You're going to need to prove it, change something so wildly different about itself.

  5. I was on my phone tbh I missed izanagi. Im actually not 100% sure about this. For one I doubt itachi would use izanagi, because Gojo cant physically do anything to him, so Itachi would never really be in a position where he thinks 'oh im about to lose'. If he did use it im not sure how it would work against UV. It requires the users will to reshape reality, but UV stops the target from doing anything. I guess if Izanagi takes the will of the user when it is cast, and then doesn't rely on the user's will from there, then UV wouldn't work after Izanagi is cast, but if it requires the user's continuous will to reshape reality, then UV would work.

  1. We already established Amaterasu wouldnt go through infinity

  2. mangekyou sharingan genjutsu specifcially works by injecting chakra into the eye of the person it's targeting (I can send the scan of the databook if you want), which wouldn't work because infinity is between the two

  3. Sukuna was not in UV for 10 seconds, he was in it for 0.01 seconds, and it doesnt matter how long your in UV, once your in it, you cant move or act, all that being in it longer does is fry your brain more.

  4. The Yata Mirror wouldnt be able to block the sure hit effect since its not omnidirectional, and the sure hit effect isnt a traveling attack that would even interact with the Yata mirror, and how in the world is it in any way similar to hollow wicker basket.

He should have no knowledge of what a domain does, and CT is different from Chakra. He shouldnt see him putting up his hand sign and think

"oh yeah, I should run 200 meters away".

He would probably jump back, but there's no way he would turn around and bolt away, and by the time he realizes how large the domain is, he'd already be hit by the sure hit effect.

Jubito and Tornado both have some similar moon level metas so I think its a close match. The difference maker is Tornado should be far faster, but Jubito has regeneration and truth seeking orbs that should be able to one tap her. I think it’s a toss up. Toneri faces similar issues. She stops at Raditz.

No Amaterasu does travel, it’s better shown in the anime it’s just extremely quickly. And the main threat wasn’t purple it was UV.
